Notes & Combos

Season 25

Not much do cook, Droll meta means draw more Drolls than them or Called by/Crossout (didn't bother to add the latest). The biggest upside this season had was less Fenrir in every deck.

(Not gonna change the notes bellow this season)

Season 24

This season I started collecting data from my climb to make adjustments based on matchups that have been more popular and the winrate against them wasn't positive. I'm also counting Extra Deck usage and if they were essential.

Bumped the hand trap ratio a lot, probably the most I've ever played in this deck. I realized that playing mid engine might help consistency but the winrate with mid hands isn't high, and bricking on hand traps gave me a better winrate. A lot of losses were due to not opening hand traps as some decks having full reign to do whatever they want means it's very unlikely you will break their board (or a simple Ariseheart Staring at you).

Other losses were due to not drawing good engine or not drawing a Bystial.

I was 1/4 vs Kash before adding the 3rd Imperm. Which changed to 4/10 and I messup one of those by not chainning imperm to my bystial effect. Got unlucky in one of them by losing both roars to Riseheart banish. Could potentially add another tech for this matchup but not sure what I would cut, everything is very important.

Besides Mathmech my 2nd best matchups was Purrely. I've been using hand traps better vs them, I don't Maxx c right away, usually wait to hit lily with Imperm/Veiler to then use Maxx C on the next spell, it's important for them to commit cards so negating Maxx c will either lose them a resource or give you cards.

Didn't miss anything in the extra and if you check the usage I didn't summoned much stuff, the hand traps win games on their own.

Collecting Data after the pack release won't be the same thing, due to new toy sindrome, so I'll try other lists and techs and cook smth with Dis Pater.

After the pack release

I played other deecks until I got to LvMax, so when I went back to Masters I saw a lot of Bystials and still a bunch of Kashtira, the bystial decks are usually inferior so it's a matter of having a decent hand, Kash is was the same thing. The techs felt pretty good.

Replays

I always share replays in MD, most of the duels are either wierd hands, trick situations or cool interactions. Check my profile (817-429-458) I always try to add new replays.
