Notes & Combos

We did it! Wanted to play something different this month and figured I'd try Terrortop for Isolde combos, it's actually really good in ninjas! Made the deck a wee-bit fat to avoid drawing garnets, and I was running Kagen for the level 1 ninja target with Isolde but got tired of drawing it so I just took it out and relied on not drawing the equip cards to get Isolde's effect. Rarely was an issue but if it was I just made Cicada King (who can revive Mitsu with his effect!)

Isolde combo is:

Terror top + Taketom = Invoker Invoker special morning star, star search heroic call Invoker + Morning Star = Isolde Isolde search Hanzo or shield bearer Send digger and durendal to GY to special green

You still have your normal summon at this point and a warrior revive in hand to work with, + a followup hanzo in hand. Usually you want to make Apollousa or Spright Elf, and even if your hand is kind of bricky, you can use elf + gigantic to get Mitsu and Green on field to make Saizo, so the deck is very good at playing through disruptions.
