Prerequisites

  • A registered Konami ID linked to your master duel game
  • Must login to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB using the same Konami ID
  • If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

  1. Click here to copy the export code
    2.
  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the DevTools window => Navigate to the Console tab in the window => Paste the export code => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code, then if you're on mobile look for the *globe* icon and tap on it to run the code (Chrome only), for PC users just hit enter.
  4. The deck will save automatically
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Notes & Combos

Played a few decks this month but VS is one of my all time favs so wanted to spend some time with it. I hate k9 and all the ******** playing it so went pure cus I aint no *****........it was not fun.

Reason for tech choices:

  • small world is weird I know but it was there to help search for dogo/kurikara against lunalight. I saw luna enough that I decided to add kurikara and small world and it actually helped
  • belle to help against mitsu which is a very rough match-up for pure vs if they go first and get murakumo on field
  • bystials for the same reason, but they also help going second against yummy so I decided to run a fairly large amount
  • talents to help in the k9vs "mirror" as pure vs is at a significant disadvantage against k9vs
  • decided to go link heavy in ED instead of xyz heavy cus I found after a while that the link plays helped a lot more in the long run. Dempsey was summoned like once I think and 60 was summoned twice as an otk took and that was about it. The links helped a lot more, and hiita was able to handle lunalight when they ended on 1 liger
  • no mulcharmies cus are you insane??? The logic behind them is such a dumb tcg mentality I can't with yall. You're assuming they resolve which is your first mistake in master duel, and they do nothing except get in the way on your turn. It's like yall are expecting to at least trade 1 for 1 with an attribute you need but that's not how this game works now is it sweet cheeks?

Should you play pure VS over k9vs? Yes if you're not a degenerate biotch. Otherwise **** NO. Pure VS struggles right now against full power k9, mitsue, or yummy, and the reward you get for being better than your counterparts isn't worth it teehee. While I love VS this was my least favorite deck climbing this month and I stuck with it just because I'm a stubborn ***
