Notes & Combos

The deck was solid and plays well under Fuwa and Purulia, usually giving the opponent 0 to a maximum of 1 draw. It folds to Holding Meowls (though no one is really playing that, to be fair) and probably to Droll as well, depending on the hand.

The Extra Deck is kind of a work in progress. I didn’t have enough UR shards to craft everything I wanted, but honestly SP, IP, Dyna Mondo, Dugares, Exciton, and the Super Poly targets are the only cards you really need. Just keep in mind that Dyna Mondo doesn’t work after using Impulse. Rhapsody was a neat addition for grindy games when breaking their board and trying to limit their follow-up. I put W:P in just for fun, but it’s a strong card — I just never ended up summoning it.

I played Super Poly to mainly beat Yummy, but also some random stuff. Magatama had some nice utility against Lupis, for like dodging D-Tail Horn, plus some other niche use cases. The quick hand Ritual Summon also came in clutch sometimes. Wousu was mainly for Liger, but it was honestly good in most matchups.

No Shifter because I’m no floodgate Andy. I cut two Purulia for two Droplet because I really wanted my spells, mainly the Ritual ones, to resolve against D-Tail and I guess Desirae sometimes. I could’ve played Belle instead, but I prefer Droplet. Impulse and Ash carried hard — insane non-engine, they literally stop everything you need to stop.

I was thinking about Red Reboot for Odion because I’m not really sure how to beat that deck otherwise; your cards interact very poorly with theirs. I didn’t play any ceiling-raisers/bricks in the main deck because I prefer building for a high floor.

Extrav with Super Poly is kind of risky, I guess, but it’s only a one-of. I did banish all my targets against Yummy once and then drew into it, but that was just unlucky, lol.

I also didn’t play the Rank 8s — I guess you could. I did consider Dingirsu as a board-breaking option, but they didn’t feel needed at all in my opinion.
