Notes & Combos
A very fun deck to pilot thanks to its ability to play through most hand traps going first and break boards going second. It also builds layered, interactive end boards without relying on overly long combo lines (which can become exhausting when continuously grinding the MD ladder). Murakumo may just be my favorite boss monster ever.
While it may not have the ceiling of the hybrid variants, pure Mitsurugi lets you utilize powerful hand traps like Impulse and Shifter to shut down your opponent, as well as in-engine tools like Wousu and Magatama to break boards and disrupt. With Habakiri recently moved to semi-limited, I opted to include Lamia as an additional searcher.
The Extra Deck consists of your typical Rank 4 and Rank 8 toolbox options, along with some powerful Link staples. I typically prioritize ending on I:P Masquerena going first, as there are four strong targets to tag into depending on what your opponent is playing: Mondo, S:P, W:P, and Gorgon.

I post a ton of replays, both going first and second. I also have quite a few royals which are nice to look at :)
