Notes & Combos

It feels like I only won 5-10 coin tosses from my entire climb from Diamond to M1. Instead of crashing out and going back to Fortnite... I became a turn 2 god. This deck is so good playing into boards it's insane. I have gone through several versions of this deck. I climbed through Diamond with a 40 card deck, tried a 60 card pile, but then... I discovered the 50 (now 49) card secret sauce.

THE GUU

Reasoning is the ultimate push card. It is activatable more than 1x per turn. Between Thrust and Monster Gate, I'm basically running 7 copies of Reasoning. Because of Reasoning, I do not play any monster hand traps, nor do I play Queen Azamina as these are all low impact targets if revealed and summoned.

THE BRICKS

These are cards you never really want to draw but increase the power ceiling on the deck.

1. Gaze of Timaeus. This is the absolute worst card to see in your opening hand. However the DM package is amazing in this deck and your opponent will ALWAYS use resources to stop you from summoning Dragoon.
2. Like a Diabell. This card is very niche but it can come in clutch. You can set a Sinful Spoils from your GY, then you can summon a Diabellstar from the GY. This card can extend your plays when you're in a pinch. This card is cuttable.

GAME PLAN

The strategy going 1st is Azamina and Diabellstar control. Some decks cannot play through the St Azamina floodgate effect on its own. Determination can potentially summon a 2nd St Azamina or even lvl 12 Azamina. This deck can not play through a Shifter and struggles vs Droll so keep this in mind.

Going 2nd, this deck can dominate boards. The main strategy is to exhaust all your opponent's play then double tribute their monsters for 2 4000 atk Azaminas for game. The strongest push cards are Lava Golem, Sinful Spoils Rciela, Sinful Spoils Silvera, and Talent.
