this is a concept i've had knocking around my mind for many months since i played around with a lab/odion/paleo pile on edopro back in february/march, but there was only 1 reasoning in the tcg so i was limited in the potential to do the kind of mill nonsense i wished to take advantage of anubis being summonable as many times per turn as you have the means to do so, which this list can

it's very fun it's very simple you do of course want to win the coinflip but with the popularity of dracotail it's pretty plausible to go second and just set a hand full of traps or play through what is generally their singular relevant point of interaction in flame, because once you resolve a grass or a reasoning in this deck you become very annoying to beat

there's some funny interactions i hadn't even realised until playing around with this particularly involving anubis and big welcome since he's a level 10 fiend and that means you can big welcome your opponent's cards if he's on the field, but also you can big welcome him yourself to search man to do the whole odion line if you get them both milled off grass/reasoning on your own turn 1

rollback is of course insane, traptantalizing tune is the goat of being ashed nobody can resist, it dumps rollback/black goat/a random paleo and it guarantees the resolution of any grass/reasoning you draw alongside it which is huge, plus sometimes it even does actually draw you 2 cards

now one thing that only happened to me a singular time but which is absolutely devastating is retaliating c on reasoning but you simply cannot be governed by fear if you're going to play a deck like this and the counterplay to that is just scoop they wanted it more and that's ok

more than once i should've been completely dead but i clung to life i topdeck into a reasoning i fill the grave with nonsense i bring back anubis and anubis into gustav max into 2k damageo into liebe into otk, you can make varudras going 1st, it's just a very funny very enjoyable deck i highly recommend

is it the most consistent possible odion list, obviously not, will you sometimes open evenly evenly olenoides olenoides lovely, yes of course, but you will also open some of the most insanely powerful setups imaginable that there is just no way for your opponent to crack and you will open those evenlys going second and be very glad to see the pair of them and i think that's beautiful
