another season, another M1 with Vanquish Soul. this time i wanted to try something new and by new i rmean Really NEW. Runick Vanquish : the ultimate draw power deck. i decided to try this combination since both engines let you draw tons of cards on both turns ( Borger and fountain). i went 15-0 with it so i would say it was a pretty successful experiment.

usually my turn 1 goes like this: summon hugin discard any VS monster, search fountain. revive whatever you discarded with " Continue" ( if you don't open continue, Normal summon mad love search continue , discard another VS monster , preferably Razen) .

Your Extra monster zone is gonna be blocked but you can still summon the Rock. summon gravity controller first using Hugin then you have a free zone down to summon the Rock.

If you already opened fountain you can summon geri normal summon any of your level 4 monsters, go Dugares draw 2 discard 1.

few things i noticed during my climb:

People instantly ash the hugin which makes your triple tactics and your Maxx C always Live.

Runick fountain is very distracting, Almost every single duel they try to out it first and forget The Vanquish Soul Part.

You don't Have a battle phase most of the time! keep that in mind!
