Prerequisites

  • A registered Konami ID linked to your master duel game
  • Must login to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB using the same Konami ID
  • If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

  1. Click here to copy the export code
    2.
  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the browser console => Paste the export code there => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code and hit Enter
  4. Save the deck
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Notes & Combos

If you want more detail regarding how Labrynth plays in general, I'd recommend reading the guide Paul and I wrote which is pinned in #labrynth in the Master Duel Meta Discord. You can also ask helpers like me for help there.

I decided to try out Nadir Servant for this run since I was tilting a bit after 2 demotions. Unfortunately, this season's climb wasn't as smooth as some of the others. Nadir seemed pretty fine but I'm doubting putting Gamma in since there's some anti-synergy but Nadir baits Ash like nothing else which makes you be able to bait Ash hard for a lot of matchups which makes your Lab plays ideally better.

For non-engine choices, I chose this line-up as in the final few games, GY hate seemed to be less effective given the recent success of Vanquish Soul in the DC boosting its popularity a ton. This means the meta is a bit more diverse than I anticipated which is why I went back to more generic handtraps than earlier in the season where I had 3 Crow 3 Bystial.

For the matchups, the usual suspects from last season are here, but Mathmech has sort of fallen out of favor in comparison to Dragon Link and Kashtira. The new contender this season was Branded Despia which was very popular early on, where I had a ton of GY hate. I realized later on that the meta may be a bit too diverse to go all in on GY hate, so I switched to this line up. Another notable matchup is of course, Vanquish Soul, where the matchup can be pretty tough if you have no idea what you're doing. Playing in Draw Phase/Standby Phase really helps.

Lastly, the Extra Deck is pretty standard for Lab running Punishment and running Gamma. I may consider running this again next season but cutting some of these ED Synchros for Gamma as Nadir and Gamma have a bit of anti-synergy there.
