Notes & Combos

Another month, another rogue M1. Let me go through the strengths and weaknesses of this deck:

(+) High ceiling, can end on 3-4 disruptions with 2-card combos

(+) Versatile, diverse choice of endboard options which can go against any deck

(+) Somewhat resilient against handtraps after you've successfully created your plays (e.g. setup Regained + Lubellion or resolving Chaos Ruler)

(+) Plays well into certain floodgates most notably TCBOO. This ability alone won me two consecutive games against Runick stun.

(-) Bricks hard. Sometimes you gonna be desperate and have to end on Hieratic Seals or link off Shinobi and banish it with a Bystial

(-) Expensive: Rip UR dust.

(-) Dies to Maxx C. If you get hit with it just pass and pray

(-) No gas going second: Typical

Onto my card choices:

• Gadget + Mining: Insane starters. Gadget is an advantage and consistency cheatcode. Try to discard a Level 2 Tuner with Chaos Space or Mining then NS Gadget. This reviving any such Tuner will gove you Chaos Ruler + Cupid search.
• Small Spright engine: Some Bystial Synchro lists drop Spright entirely and just borrow their Elf and Sprind, however I find this engine worth it as it's good payoff and provides an extra layer of protection or extension to get your plays started and totally not because I couldn't afford Ready Fusion. Didn't play Jet because it's bricky with its one Spright and deck is already full.
• Catche Eve + Linguriboh: The only reason you should go for this is because it helps you fight against Trap, nice to have from Cupid's free search but you can play Nemeses and Colossus instead. Gadget can also be made into Linguriboh if you want to.
• Cupid Pitch: I replaced Omega with this. Didn't feel like handlooping with Dis Pater just wants a bit more consistency and Linguribon is nice.
• The one Tuning: I am poor and cannot play 3rd Assault, however 3rd Assault is optimal as you might pitch it off Chaos Ruler.
