The climb went super well and I can't help thinking I must have gotten plenty lucky. I won 24 of my last 30 games with about 50% coin toss win rate, I won 0 coin tosses in M2 for example and I won every game. It's a go 1st deck obviously and it's not like I play any breakers aside from Super Poly but the deck just naturally goes hard go 2nd.
Neither the main deck nor the ED are optimised tbh, you ought to run Shifter. I am not at all sure if running a copy of normal Albaz would be better or worse, gives tons of interruptions but we're super low on starters and the discard stings more here. You're free to switch things around, I don't feel very strongly about anything here except that running 3 F&V outside of Branded is almost always a mistake, I don't like Branded in that it's the least fun objectively strong engine I've ever played so the moment I get cards that help me get rid of that engine it's getting cut but I don't think that that's happening. I currently use it for consistency mostly, make swordsoul synchro - search lawbringer(who's a goated card btw) and send herald for Habakiri.
I have 2 tips for the hand traps,
- Impulse is extremely strong and due to how layered boards work it VERY often works better used on your turn than on the opponent's.
- Harmonia is almost like current Nibiru, it's not that it sucks mega *** as a card but if it's the only hand trap you have then yeah, it's a joke. It will stop nobody, unless you have good reason to suspect that it will work best getting rid of 2 bodies just search Habakiri/Mitsu Ritual instead like a pseudo starter.
The ED is actually quite free, Luluwalilith NEVER came up, NEVER NEVER so that spot is up for grabs, sea monster of Theseus can probably be swapped for the new Hero card eventually. Scarlight is for aura farming mostly, it's not that he's bad but I think the better choice is Dracoberserker of the Tenyi, it's a solid interruption going 1st and at least as good for board breaking. Typhon NEVER came up either and he's one of my all time favourites, I think cutting him makes sense if you can find sth better. Also put in a rank 8 of choice, those are good and would come up 100%.
