I chose to play 45 cards because the deck runs 9 bricks, helping reduce the chances of drawing them and improving the quality of my opening hands.
The climb wasn't easy. Branded is a difficult matchup because it can use my Dragons as Fusion material, while Radiant Typhoon can easily remove key cards like True Light and Primite Lordly Lode. Sky Striker is also challenging due to its constant resources and powerful searching and drawing.
Going first, when I open both the Primite and Blue-Eyes engines, I usually aim for the Level 12 Dragons Trinity + Drillbeam + Majesty, while carefully playing around hand traps. Going second is much harder and depends heavily on my handtraps and the opponent's interaction.
