Notes & Combos

My goal is to summon Colossus and try to get advantage off the Bystials protecting my life points and triggering my ThunDras.

  • If I draw Solar and I don't get Maxx C'd, I try to summon Elf (through Cross-Sheep) to protect Colossus from targeting.
  • Sometimes I have enough gas to end on I:P and if they summon a Bystial on my turn it's a bit easier.
  • I'm usually ending on Regained of Beast, but when most of my interactions are on the field I prefer Beast as keeping Regained in deck gives a way to recover if i get Evenly Matched.
  • M7 comes up turn 1 through Solar + 1 Bystial line when everything goes through so you can make M7, detach the Bystial and add it to your hand. Going 2nd helps making Zeus with the option to force a disruption, grab smth from GY and clear smth by battle, that being said, it hasn't come up since season 18, going 2nd it's usually better to make Goddess.

Bricking?? Idk, what is that? As long my hand isn't 5 ThunDras or Called by, there's no bricking, you just play next turn or the turn after, building boards is overrated. Honestly I won a ton of games off passing turn 1, as long you can summon the Bystials to protect your LP or the hand traps do at least a little vs them you can still win games drawing a play in later turns.

In this season I tried a different list with more engine instead of hand trap, and it works pretty well when you go first but not as good going 2nd, endup switching back to this version.

Now for post Kashtira, Sauravis has already proven its value for me, being able to search it when you know they have only 1 targeting disruption that can stop you, it's GG. It's gonna be important to protect you board from Fenrir.

I've tried one Space over one Lubellion but most of the time it hold me down.

I saw Chaos Hunder in another list in the Website. It's very sacky vs Kash, drawing it means it's almost a free win and since Fenrir is everywhere is almost always live which helps a lot going 2nd. Being another Dark to get Super Poly'd came up once or twice, the other downside didn't come up, which is Tear milling it and stealing with Dharc (wrote this too soon, it obviously happened). The colateral damage vs other decks was also very nice, like Adamancipator which prevents Block Dragon's summon.

Against Kash if they go first don't summon Chaos Hunter too early wait for them to commit to Diablosis as they probably just make Big Eye and steal your Chaos Hunter which you can guess that won't end well for you.

Replays

I always share replays in MD, most of the duels are either wierd hands, trick situations or cool interactions. Check my profile (817-429-458) I always try to add new replays.
