Sky Striker got even more Radiant!

Another season laddering to M1, and managed to make it there before the new pack even dropped! From Diamond to Master 5 I was playing a similar list to this but with Super Poly and the normal Radiant Typhoon Package. However, I felt the deck was just not consistent enough going first, and of course Upstart is a very very bad card into the EXTREMELY POPULAR Droll

I was very interested in this list after seeing Fillis perform very well with it in the DC cup! I changed the extra deck a little, and honestly it's probably not even optimized (you change quite a few things)

Extended Radiant Typhoon Package

• In addition to Vision x3 (which is standard in Striker now), we also run Chant x3 and 2 of the main deck monsters
• Both Chant and Vision give you draw phase plays to play around Droll, and allow for the fabled draw phase Linkage play which lets you get Engage before every being droll-able
• Main Combo: Chant -> Eldam -> Swen -> Add Vision -> Camellia -> Send Spell
  • With this combo you can very easily get 3 spells in gy and filter the deck w/o Upstart
  • Any piece of the engine gets you to Camellia without using your normal summon which is very strong!
  • In terms of board breaking it also allows you double the access to MST

Other Cards

• Droll x2, Maxx C, Ash x3: The Radiant Typhoon package is very consistent but not quite as good at breaking a FULL board, so we do need some hand traps to both bolster our own board and also help play into a 70% board instead of a 100% board
• Belle x2: I took the deck from Fillis and kept this, but Belle did seem a bit underwhelming. There was not much Dracotail and the other decks it is very hit or miss. Could consider swapping this + Cross out into super poly package or other handtraps, but honestly it did have good moments too
• Black Goat/Thrust: Been a while since I used this package but Black Goat saved my *** MULTIPLE times; love that card. Thrust needs no introduction. Possibly my favorite yugioh card (when not used for evil!)

General Metagame Thoughts:

• Very wide format, hard to have too specific of non engine
• Boards going first are unbelievable, especially when backed by Ash/Droll/Maxx C
• You WILL get drolled, please have a back up plan lol
• The consistency hits do feel like they did something, the JUSH decks feel more consistently stoppable
