Notes & Combos

Overall, I think Kewl Tune is a pretty strong deck. However, it can struggle going second against decks like VSK9, and sometimes it can be really hard to play through their boards if you don't open any interruptions.

Cue is undoubtedly one of your best starters since it plays best into Droll. That said, some hands can still be pretty awkward, and if you do get drolled, there are times when there's simply nothing you can do but pass turn and pretty much rely on your non-engine. One thing I sometimes do is if you open Rotary, you normal summon a starter like Reco without activating its effect to play better into Droll.

I played Super Polymerization and Pot of Desires in my early builds but eventually cut both. Super Polymerization can be anti-synergistic sometimes and clash with cards like Synchro Overtake, and honestly it just doesn't come in handy that often. As for Desires, I kept banishing my one-of field spell, so I swapped it out for Imperm and Duelist Genesis instead.
