Notes & Combos

Reaching M1 after so long in my yugioh history, and it's with unchained

a few adjustments were made since my last upload, including addition of vice requiem package. it felt to valueable not to play it, and in my 10 games i drew vice only twice and it doesnt always kill your hand. all in all, it bricked less that it did in the overall run

couple of notes as always :

  1. considered droll inclusion, but decided not to since i rely much on thrust & ttt, droll will mess up my ratios so i decided not to do it. but i personally would recommend droll considering our deck searches only once generally (yama effect) thus droll does not effect us. Life would be so much better without maxx c but it is what it is
  2. 70%-ish of my M1 climb is filled with snake-eyes. it was hard fighting them, however it is not impossible. won 9 SE matchups out of 12. HTs and thrust plays a big role in my games, thus why the ratio is perfect in my opinion and i wouldnt tinker it further. Also vice package not only threatens a pop, it also threatens a zeus play, thus usefull to main deck
  3. Subversion is a card, so i like having caesar + blue dog + any unchained name (favoritely rakea) + escape + yama in grave as my enboard. there are plays including 2 caesars + blue dog as an endboard, but i feel like the previous endboard is safer. allows playing around nibiru and consistent with tour guide or even sharvara / aruha pop trap as a starter. recommend summoning shyama early if you are high on resources to counteract nibiru
  4. i would stress this aspect again. In a decent hand unchained goes through disruptions super well. taking notes of which of oppenent monster destroys on effect and baiting useless disruptions on less usefull effect like prison search. dodgeing imperms / veilers with sharvara. going through nibiru with rakea (pop a name before nibiru summon) and shyama.

shoutouts to the unchained channel. learned a lot from the channel and convos. cheers
