Notes & Combos

My M1 Purrely list. Deck is built with Snake-Eyes in mind as the top threat while also respecting Kashtira Unicorn. The only card Kashtira Unicorn can hit is Zeus, besides that the deck is unhindered. Most of the Snake-Eye variants I came across was still on Kash Unicorn, so I was happy with the list. Two Happy and Beauty comes up relatively often and 2 Epurrely Noir came up once or twice, especially without Anima for removal. Azalea comes up a decent amount to get rid of floods or force my opponent's monsters to activate before I do my main Purrely plays.

Forbidden Chalice and Droplet were added in my list to combat Snake-Eye. Generally you wait for the summon of the IP and negate with either. If Baronne or Savage happen to be on the field, you want to force their negates right away. Usually you play a memory or Normal Summon a Purrely to bait the negate, then chain Droplet to negate it. Most of the time, between Maxx "C", Veiler, Ash Blossom, and Imperm or going first.. you wont have to worry about this too much. Droplet and Chalice also are really good against Branded when they go for their Quem/Albaz/Red plays.

4 Cats because I didn't want to draw more than 1 cat in my opening hand. Drawing 2 means you have a brick and you can fall behind quickly if you're facing a board of negates.

Consider Dark Ruler No More or 3 Mourner over Forbidden Droplet. I liked Mourner for Tear because that I felt was my hardest match up (especially going second) for Kitt and it was still really good vs Lab/SE. DRMN is definitely better overall than Droplet but I wanted something to react to what my opponent does, and besides SE, there isn't a lot of Omni negates decks.

Also props to the Purrely chat group on Discord and Dinh Pham for the inspiration on the list.
