Notes & Combos

Hi! I have other Exosister guides from previous seasons here. You can also check them out!

This season though I wanted to try Purrely and had to learn it from scratch, but once you do, the deck is almost unstoppable. Its recovery is insane.

Now to some tips:

  • First bait the negates. If you have Purrely or Purrelyly AND My friend Purrely! just normal summon one of those before activating the spell. If they Maxx C you and you don't have an answer after activating a quick play spell, play another quick play spell on top of it and only special summon a cat at this exact time so they have a card less. Go into Noir if possible and set a trap.
  • Expurrely Happiness actually showed up a couple of times and in Master 2 (it's in one of my replays). You can easily make it with Plump for OTKs where the board is empty.
  • Purrely Sharely is HIGHLY underrated right now. Not only you can get an additional Xyz purrely monster in your opponent's turn but right when they Maxx C you just attaching two quick play spells to Noir will give you the two traps you want so you don't have to special summon any further.
  • Pot of prosperity is really good at baiting too.
  • Pretty Memory is a soft once per turn, make sure you attach it to different XYZ so you can "eat" their main boss monsters twice or more.
  • Against Snake Eyes Plump is really strong so they either will have to remove it from the field asap or it'll grab sinful spoils spells preventing them from unbricking their hand and if they remove plump, you know the drill: the recovery is out of this world if you have the field spell and My Friend Purrely! on the field.
  • Using Pretty Memory to attach Snake-Eyes and Tearlaments monsters is the best way to get rid of them because if you detach the materials, their effects won't trigger. Keep that in mind. That's why I run two Beauties.
  • Sometimes you'll be forced to set a couple of quick play spells: if you have no cards in your hands and you either need to protect your monsters or spells bc if you don't is a guranteed defeat: set Sleepy memory or Happy memory depending on the situation to avoid OTKs too.

ID: 144-623-543 I have a few replays from Master rank. One of them has a cool OTK with Expurrely Happiness.
