Notes & Combos
I've played this deck on ladder for 3 whole seasons now, so most of the ratios have been tested and it's pretty standard anyways. It's a deck that rewards having familiarity and not making mistakes. If played properly, you can expect a very high win rate in this event given how much other decks are behind on the power curve.
This is obviously the best deck available and the mirror is the matchup that you're gonna come across the most, so 3 Super Poly was a no-brainer. Such a blowout card. I don't play Fusion Deployment on ladder, but the added consistency is very much needed here with Almiraj and Anaconda not being available. The only thing I would like to experiment with in the main deck is a second copy of Albion. You can get to Branded Fusion with Albion + Cartesia / Fusion Deployment. It's pretty neat, and Albion just in general is a good card to see because it's like a plus version of Upstart Goblin in this deck. You can play Branded in Red, I don't play it because if you resolve Branded Fusion into the Bystial stuff you should win anyways.
Some niche stuff in the Extra Deck:
- Proskenion is quite strong in the mirror both due to its effect and also its stats
- Playing both Brigrand and Sprind in the ED because you need one guy to give you the End Phase Albaz access and the other guy to allow you to fuse away non Light/Dark's. Titaniklad gives you better coverage but Brigrand gives you an additional option to send off of Granguignol. (If you have Cartesia + Branded Fusion, you can end on Regained + Beast + Retribution if you dump Regained through Saronir off of Granguignol. But you can also dump Brigrand and end on Mercourier + 2 of Regained/Beast/Retribution, especially if you already have one of those 3.)
