Notes & Combos
Shout out to Fuan! Their list/combo write-up inspired me to build this for the event. Live Twin Fiendsmith is essentially unhit, so it ends up being a pretty high ceiling deck in a low ceiling format.
The one card combo ends with Sunny, Chamber, and Desirae. Having one extender adds Gryphon.
Handtraps are chosen to maximize the chances of drawing something usable off ki-sikil. I'd love nibiru, but it conflicts with needing an empty board. There is no playing around nibiru, so just believe it doesn't exist.
Running 13 starters gives this deck almost 90% chance to play. 7 of those starters are also extenders, so drawing multiples is okay most of the time. Backdoor acts is both an extender and a way to dodge veiler/imperm. Flier and Gatchiri are the cards you can search with backdoor. One of each because they are once per turn and 2 total to prevent drawing one of them making backdoor dead. They aren't garnets because if you hard draw them, they are still extenders.
Every extra deck card was used except I:P. Mostly because of the twins' fiend lock. Azalea is also not necessary, but I did use it once when I had no discard for Unicorn. Other ideas include more Knightmares, Unchained, Muckraker, Underworld Goddess, or backup twins.
One card I missed was paradise. Sometimes when I didn't go full combo because it looked like they had nibiru, having it as an option by reviving sequence and dumping with lacrima would have been nice. In testing, I drew it a lot, so I swtich it with mining, but then I rarely drew mining...
Last note. Becuase one of the loaners is essentially Dragoon dot deck, Dragoon outs are important. The answers are Desire, Accesscode, and Sunny's grave effect.
