Notes & Combos

The King and Queen of the Graveyard! Tearwhite combines the Wight Monsters that need to be sent to the graveyard with the milling power of Tearlaments (Kitkallos)

This deck wants to blind second, since King of the Skull Servants can reliably OTK if the opponent put up a half-board because of the Charmies or if he is accompanied by a breaker

The killer card Kitkallos, if she resolves, wins the game. She on her own can mill 10 cards and is the reason, this deck functions in the first place. Wightlord is the second insane card, who might mill even more

Advantages:

  • Branded is a great matchup. Without the Synchro, a single Droplet or S-Poly breaks enough of their board that you can push through usually
  • Likewise, this deck eats Lunalight alive. It doesn't care about Liger's protection and since the Quick Effect only destroys Special Summoned monsters, King of the Skull Servants isn't effected
  • Droplet is insane in this deck, as most of the monsters want to be in the graveyard anyway
  • The coin toss doesn't matter! Which is a great advantage if you only win 25% of them!
  • The deck is cheap (if you have the staples), which is part of the reason I used this instead of Branded Tearlaments for which I lack cards

Disadvantages:

  • The deck is bricky, since you don't want to draw the Wights if you don't have Droplet or Scheiren, you play Vanilla monsters and a negate on Kitkallos invalidates most of the Tear side of the deck
  • Branded and Odion are incredibly rough. You should really run Red Reboot in this to turn those around, I just didn't have the UR to spend
  • You blind second without interruptions from hand. Meaning FTK's and pseudo FTK's just win, luckily I haven't seen many of those

Card Choices:

  • Wight Reanimator lets you win against Branded if they put everything in defence and provides another push if one King is destroyed
  • Gameciel is nice, since it is both an acceptable breaker as well as importantly another Aqua monster, which does matter if you mill off Wightlord
  • Zombie Warrior and Flame Ghost are in because I thought they were funny and I ran out of (non UR) S-Poly targets

Changes:

  • Both Red Reboot as well as Gordian Slicer are amazing choices I didn't pick only because they are URs. If you have them, you should probably play them
  • Run Cross Sheep! Don't be like me and forget generic links are legal before you play long enough that you don't care anymore. Effect is secondary, but sometimes you want your Wight monsters in the graveyard

Replays

As always, some replays. Since attacking for over 8000 damage is the most satifying part of this deck, I only included duels were my opponent didn't surrender ... which happened a lot after a breaker into Scheiren/Reino or once you enter Battle Phase. Anyways, hope you enjoy:
