Notes & Combos
All games for ranking up to DLv.19 were done before stage 2 started. My match history at ranking up to DLv.19 was: 14W 6L (70% winrate). 19 to 20 was done on the very last day of the event, while stage 2 was going on. This time it took only a 4-game winstreak.
Why do I choose to play spright? A bunch of reasons, but also because my Underworld Goddess and alt art Unicorn are royal rarity.
Notes for myself in the future:
- 1 droll, 1 nibiru, etc. were tried as crossout targets, but were cut.
- Talents were tried at 3 but were trimmed down.
- March Hare can be annoying for denying OTKs without Gamma Burst in the deck. But this never actually gave me a loss, so I never switched the OTK method back to Gamma Burst.
- In theory, Dominus Impulse can avoid conflicting with Mannequin Cat. But when there's multiple possible conflicts to keep track of, I guess I found that too annoying.
- Codebreaker was added after I Maxx C'd a Ryzeal opponent but could not deal with Bagooska. But this happened only once, so that spot can be flexible.
Target endboard is: mannequin cat, ip masq, pit knight earlie (pointing to both ip and elf), spright elf reviving sprind or red or carrot (sprind detaches from mancat).
- starter spell only -> no earlie, ip, mancat, elf revive, smashers, 1 extra lv2 for smashers or ip
- nimble beaver only -> no earlie, ip, mancat, elf revive
- swap frog only -> no earlie, ip, mancat, elf revive
Shout-out to TheShapestofSnatches on youtube for constantly hyping up how sprights are resistant to getting handtrap'd. I don't agree fully, but no point yapping about that here. He has a couple videos on post-unlimiting sprights and using sprights to counter Maliss, if there's anyone still wanting to learn this 2022 deck from scratch (I doubt it).

vs "Siro": I went second into Maliss.
vs "いめい", Nekroz Swordsman icon: I went second, pushed through Ash, Called By, and Nibiru.
