Notes & Combos
Climb is quite match-up dependent. A lot of current meta is anti targeting so it's a bit annoying. But as long as you can get out fountain + regain, it is hard to lose. 2 SP is good, since she's so easy to make. Can replace scarlight with typhon/ or lvl 12 synchros.
- vs mathmech: bystials eats mathmech for breakfast. Runck spells are also usually good against them. Easiest meta match up
- Yubel: Flashing fire Phantom, banish all their stuffs in grave/ get out fountain/ regain and you'll be fine. Destruction limited to 1 hurt, but destruction on their spells/trap is very good/
- Fire decks: have not seen a lot of them, maybe people are tired of fire meta. But in general we can grind vs fire.
- Voiceless voice. One of the tougher matchup. It will be an uphill battle when they get lo+ skull+ barrier out, since it protects against all targeted effects ( all runicks). sauravis is also annoying. Again, banish their stuffs from graveyard (especially Lo), and use a bunch of handtrap to stop them and try to get to fountain/ regain first.
- Mikanko/ Ancient gear. We suck against both these guys, since we cannot set up 5 omni negates turn 1. They both are not light/dark so bystials are less useful. Mikanko can get Huli + equip spell out to protect against targeted effects. Ancient gear is also annoying, do everything you can to stop them getting to fortress + fusion + the trap. fotress makes them unaffected ( which kills all runick spells).
- Tear: gambler vs gambler. one like to mill, one likes to draw.
