Notes & Combos

RIP Spright Tri-Brigade, it has been fun 8 months while it lasted, anyways the new age of Arm...I mean lovely Labrynth is upon us...until we get a fun deck like Spright or Tear. Rant aside...

Standard list with some Execptions:

  • Thrust/Herald/TTT are not normally played in Lab, I did it because... I wanted to. The Gamma Package is maybe better here, I just wanted to use a new toy. Quick note: Purrly can play around Herald if they set a memory spell chaining it to Herald summoning Purrlyly, so try and work around that first before firing it off.
  • Why 2 Chandraglier you ask. They are not the greatest this format to an extent, Ariesheart and Noir pretty much invalidate them so I cut 1 of the 6 to not see them as much while fitting in more non engine to be able to play around them, and like 1 less Welcome isn't a deal breaker we have liked 20 ways to get to them anyway.
  • Last but not least: EEV > DBarrier, I said it. Why? Hand Knowledge. Both cards succsfully resolving wins the game regardless however.. there are some decks that can play around both and in that case I much rather know what exactly my oppoent can do instead of praying he can't do anything. A deck like Spright or Kash can play around DBarrier, however if I know they can't extend past 1 pop then I win anyway, it also better if your oppoent is playing non engine like Thrust, Duster,etc... Lab is a deck that doesn't give 2 **** about DBarrier as well. This is a format dependant card and since both are great I picked the one I find to be better since I hate having both in my hand unless the other 3 cards are Welcomes or something.

Sorry for the long read, here is a funny duel that I had against Purrly that both of us played poorly...
