I’ve spent the last few months playing Dracotail, but I really missed this deck... it's just so much fun.
It might not be the best in the current meta since it struggles against Radian Typhoon and VS-K9, and loses hard to Maxx "C" and Mulcharmy. Still, I managed to hit Lv. Max and even snatched a couple of duels against them. I even went on an impressive 11-0 win streak from Level 15 all the way to 19.
The undisputed MVP of this climb was Luce. I feel like players are sleeping on Luce's potential in this deck, especially since the ED is so tight. Luce sends cards to the GY, pops the opponent's cards, and protects D/D/D High King Caesar. You can even recycle a Trap using Sarama without losing a single card thanks to Luce’s protection. + it's an incredible way to recycle cards back into the Main and Extra Deck (using Mutiny or Sequence).
On the other hand, the trade-off for me is between Bao a qu and Underworld Goddess. Since there aren't many Towers in the current meta, I went with Bao, as it's easier to access than Goddess most of the time. Just remember to manage your hand advantage so you have enough follow-up to activate Bao's effect.
Anyway... enough yapping, I had a blast playing it!
