Introduction:

Hello!

Before delving further into this read, note that this decklist is heavily inspired by Nasi_Sentou's decklist! I was searching for Sky Striker lists for inspiration, and thought it was an amazing idea to test out for the DC!

So, the much dreaded Duelist Cup is here for March, and there is a very diversified meta that spreads us thin: K9 Vanquish Soul, Dracotail, Yummy, Mitsurugi, Lunalight, and the new Radiant Typhoon which also supports this deck profoundly!

Overview:

Radiant Typhoon Engine (RT): The most unique part of this Sky Striker decklist (again, sincerest gratitude to Nasi_Sentou for first uploading this idea into the website), is an expanded RT engine that further includes RT Chant, Eldan, and Swen along with the standard Vision and MST. A big upside to this engine is that it can bait Ash as duelists anticipate a pure RT matchup, and the spell cards add cards to hand in Draw Phase (Delaying Droll, our Kryptonite). Eldan and Swen provide two monsters, which can bridge into Striker with guess who: Camelia! The RT cards also provide spells in graveyard, which is great for setting up Engage+ to draw multiple cards. Of course, MST can help us against the Odion, Dracotail, etc. matchups.

Handtraps: Somewhat standard. Droll seems to be strong against pure RT, VSK9, Mitsurugi, and mirror matchups. Ash Blossom, of course, can negate Mulcharmies, Maxx C's, and is generally the most applicable hand-trap against most decks. These, along with Belle, are also very good Crossout Designator targets.

Striker Engine: Very standard for the most part! To maintain a compact forty-card deck count, I decided not to run Afterburners, Jamming Waves, and Eagle Boosters. Kaina is here as a general Lemnisgate target and link for Camelia lines.

Conclusions:

This deck is SO fun! Such an enjoyable experience piloting this deck, and very joyous seeing the synergy behind these decks. The matchups against meta decks are very dependent on my hand, but RT from my experience is a very perilous matchup with their backrow removal and Shiina being a nuisance. Psst... shoutouts to the Dungeon!
