Notes & Combos
IB horus is one of the most underrated ice barrier variants, but it performed quite well in this DC cup!
Going 1st, the main idea is to just bait with the horus engine. Dragoon eats a handtrap, revealer helps you end on lancea and spellbreaker. You even have zombie vampire as a bridge.
Going 2nd, the horus cards can be really good at breaking half boards, but if all you see is ice barriers... it's already over lol.
Pros: slight handtrap resilience, can ftk with lancea and spellbreaker if they come out. Has room for non engine. This is also one of the few decks that can really shine with charmies without blinding 2nd.
Cons: plays quite a few bricks, too many cards force you to discard, no impulse, bad into VS K9.
Extra: photon lord and chengying only came up a few times. The ice barrier trap wasn't good on its own, but maybe if you also play gameciel? I'd consider going up to 42-45.
