Notes & Combos
Expensive as **** deck, but a ton of fun for obvious reasons. Went through a lot of adjustment, mainly to counter the largely Spright oriented meta right now (hence a **** ton of boardbreakers, plus Citadel is really great for wiping their monsters, preferably more than once).
60 cards probably isn't the optimal way to play this deck, but I have a soft spot for 2021-era Dozer Control and Infinitracks are my favourite archetype. So this deck ends up being a bit of both modern and classic Earth Machine.
\ Notable Small World Lines:
- Any Earth Machine (except Ancient Gear Box/Trencher) -> Maxx "C" -> Any Other Earth Machine (except those 2 again, usually Gearframe)
- Ash Blossom -> Effect Veiler -> Gearframe/Harvester
- Maxx "C" -> Harvester -> Veiler/Ash Blossom
\ Other tech you can consider running
- Things like Ghost Belle (also a great small world bridge), Zeus (Dingirsu can make it 4 material), Phantom Fortress Enterblathnir (non-targeting banish), or even stuff like Switchyard, Pegasus, and Aussa if you like swaying in that combo direction.
- A generic link like the link Aussa or Phoenix can come in handy if you need to link off your opponent's monster taken off TTT.
- Floodgates are probably pretty good in the deck, I just don't like them.
- Silly tech pick: If you run more than one Unclaspare, you can use it as a small world bridge with something like D.D. Crow.
