Notes & Combos

Sky Striker right now divulges into running one of 3 packages.

First is the traditional blind going 2nd Sky Striker with minimal hand traps and board breakers like Raigeki, Duster, Lightning Storm, Evenly, Dark Ruler no more, etc. This can still work and there are great players who have had success with it, however personally I think going 2nd in this meta is really bad.

2nd is the Ultimate Slayer Package, which is better in a blind 2nd deck. Though it can still function going first. Slayer also has the advantage of being able to be searched by Thrust. This is the best package to deal with Dracotail which is the best deck in the game as of right now. However the matchups against Mallis, Mitsurugi, and Orcust get a lot worse.

Which is all to say that I believe that the Super Poly package is the best overall for this meta. Its the best going first version that you can play. Super Poly + Triph make there matchups into Mallis, Mitsurugi, and Orcust more favorable.

Like I said though you can make Sky Striker feel dominant regardless of which package you want to run.

Onto Deck Specifics

Handtraps

Max C and Droll: The Best Handtraps right now and can win duals on theyre own. Not as impactull against Dracotail is the only downside.

Ash: Thought about cutting her for Fuwaloss at one point. Ash is just too consistently good though, and shes the best hand trap for Dracotail.

Tech Cards

Double Cyclone: Really good against Dracotail. This meta in general has a lot of backrow even outside of that so having the efficent removal is often nice. Fills GY too.

HAMP: Super Poly build auto loses to Lunalight without him, if they pull first. Which I played against a lot of Lunalight. Hamp one tower, bounce it back with Lemnisgate, Hamp the other tower. Good against Mallis also.

Droplet: 3 Droplet felt too clunky. 2 felt good and droplet is really good against Dracotail, I just cut the 2nd copy for other stuff.

Foolish + MetalFoes: Really efficient draw engine that doesnt take up too many deckslots which was getting tight.

Extra Deck

Engage Zero: Outside of SuperPoly, this deck doesnt have any board breakers, this card gives you easy access to one.

Tyhpon: Never went to him too often but he was nice to stack on top of Engage Zero.

Zeke: Not that impactful, but necesary for link plays.

If you have the UR Mat to spare cut one of those 3 for Mysterion. So super Poly is better into Dracotail.
