Notes & Combos

Pretty standard Mathmech list with a couple pretty minor abnormalities, biggest of which are including Final Sigma and Billionblade Nayuta. I think to be more optimal, you should swap out the funny man with Link Spider to more easily recover after getting hit with Nibiru, but Cyberse actually has a TON of tech options. Also, you should probably just remove the sword, and maybe also Multiplication.

Reached DLMAX with around an 80% Winrate. Final Sigma cleaned up far more games than you would expect.

Handtrap explanations:

  • Veiler is a Small World bridge at worst, and in my games is often the best handtrap I could have drawn. Frequently was playing 2 instead.
  • Droll is usually an instant win
  • Cockroach is broken
  • Ash Blossom is for the roach but is very versatile obviously
  • Ghost Belle I was usually playing at 3, it felt extremely good to protect my GY when flipping Superfactorial or other random GY plays.
  • Nibiru is a great card for Small World and for going second.
  • I'm still not sure about Imperm, I think I drew it only a couple times my climb up and didn't accomplish much, seems good in theory.

Other Staple Thoughts:

  • Fenrir prevents you from using Transcode on the same turn, but can be a powerful option.
  • PSY-Framegear Gamma - I hate this card so I am biased, but it also makes me play another brick and I'm commited to Billionblade already.
  • Red Reboot is a card I'm a big fan of. Lab is annoying.
  • Thrust Good card, targets in this deck are only ok though, wasn't a fan in this deck.
  • 1-2 Bystials would probably work decently well, never tested them though.
  • I faced a couple other Mathmech players running Evenly Matched, and I won every time, seems bad.
  • Kurikara Divincarnate - this card goes kinda crazy

Neat tricks I like:

  • Sending Desavewurm with Terahertz, then using Small World to grab Maxx "C" and negating Called By in Draw Phase netted me 3 or 4 instant surrenders.
  • If you can hold off on Splash Mage's activation until after you summon Terahertz, you can foolish Micro Coder with Terahertz to reborn with Splash Mage then grab Cynet Conflict when you summon a Talker.
  • G Golem Crystal Heart is usually saved for the crackback, but you can make some very strong turn 1 boards by being greedy and summoning it early.

Replays

My profile (As of 12/16) has mostly Mathmech replays, most are just funny or bad, and/or are silver games, but some are real games:
