Notes & Combos

I'm a bit late to this but I wanted to try something a little different.

For the event I was trying out Claymizer's build but after a bit I wanted to test some Armored XYZ. Using the Terrortop/PUNK engine we can push out either UDF or Full Armored Dark Knight. It's possible to do so with enough resources but the Armored package can get you a lot of damage if you have the Rank 5 equipped.

The line is similar to just the regular UDF combo, go into Alucard, go into Angel and search Shot. From there you Summon back Alucard and then make Angel again. Search one last card and then you can make UDF or you can make XYZ Armor Fortress. Since you have to have no materials under Armor Fortress and we're only playing 2 search targets you want to have to detatch 1 (with only 1) forr the Full Armored XYZ trap. On your opponent's turn you can just rank up into the 7 and banish it to attach the Rank 5 or the Alucard. That'll trigger the 7 and let you absorb an opponent's monster so you'll want to be timely with that.

A big part of this package is that by attaching Alucard or Dullahan as the equip you can get a lot of recurssion in the form of getting back either your Shots, Mary, Specter or Scares. This resource loop is pretty good but no perfect, I'm still messing around with it. You can also make use of the XYZ trap to make F0 on your opponent's turn if you have the 7 already and need a way to get the trap in the graveyard. The XYZ trap can also dodge a bunch of targetting, so it can be used defensively on your opponent's ensuing turns.

This is just a fun build, sometimes I think it's just better to go into the UDF but the targetting protection with the Rank 3 equipped can stop a bunch of stuff too. Now you can go into the rank 5 over Alucard or Angel so that makes Dullahan into the Rank 7 possible. Armored XYZ (the spell) is not once per turn so if you're pushing for game and you want multiple attacks you can get it back with the Rank 7's effect and equip more stuff. You can even go into the Rank 5 ontop of Downerd, but if you already have both targets/too many materials you can't go into the Dark Lancer. If you're running low on Angels like I found myself, Downerd can be useful ontop of Armor Torpedo/Dullahan/Alucard alongside an Angel to make F0>UDF.

And as usual setting against Synchro is very strong so make use of Scare boards/Darma Cannons. Against Fusion it's not as helpful, but you can still stop some attacks.
