Notes & Combos

Even though this is an event deck, I think the core concept of it can still be applied and adjusted for normal ranked gameplay, especially after we get the Fur Hire support we're missing.

The deck's options for 1-card Folgo:

• Dark Beckoning Beast (alternatively: Spirit Gates or Nightmare Throne)
• RT Eldam/Swen (alternatively: Chant or Tenki)

Extra extenders:

• Reasoning (varied level pool = hard to whiff)
• Krosea/Varuroon/Fonix in combination with hard-drawing Quick-Plays and using them for Link materials (making sure not to activate Krosea on field unless the non-WIND stuff has been set up)

Other Extra Deck options:

• Almiraj (additional way to turn something into a different Type if you normal summon)
• Battle Phase techs (Borrelsword, Accesscode, etc.)
• 2nd copy of Folgo
• W:P Fancy Ball
• Scareclaw Tri-Heart (you play a lot of Links so you don't mind his effect, and it can protect from non-Links dealing with your board)
• Gigantic Spright (in the normal format)

Fur Hire by itself doesn't lead into full combo, and even if we perform 1-card Folgo, summoning Rex via Folgo won't do anything useful unless you have an extra body on the field (so, Folgo in EMZ and any 1 non-Warrior monster, minimum).

The sequence should be as follows:

1. SS Folgo while having a non-Warrior leftover monster on the field
2. Folgo effect, SS Rex from deck. Your field should now be Folgo + Rex + extra body
3. Rex add Rookie
4. Rookie tribute Rex to SS Beat
5. Use Beat and the additional non-Warrior monster to Link into Donner
6. Donner tribute herself, SS Beat FIRST and Rex SECOND
7. Beat being on the field first sees a Fur Hire being SS, so he can now search. Your priority should be Donpa for disruption, but Rafale is a great second option to excavate and dig for hand traps or extenders.
8. With Folgo + 3 bodies, you can now make more Link plays like setting up Spright Elf and I:P.

The reason for Sacred Beast being combined with Radiant Typhoon is simple. RT gives us free special summons, whereas Sacred Beast provides the best possible normal summon for what Fur Hire wants. It's a very easy way to obtain the excess material(s) I said were necessary for Folgo to actually pivot into full Fur Hire setup. Not to mention their ability to bait hand trap slop and remove backrow is perfect for pushing through otherwise difficult games at times.

Hopefully we get the missing Fur Hire support soon, it's gonna make this concept so much more playable and fun. 😌
