Notes & Combos
DESTRUCTION IS POWER! POWER IS DESTRUCTION!
Wins: 7 in a row (I didn't realise until that many)
Superpoly carries a lot of games, but the engine is surprisingly resilient too if you are familiar with what your opponent is doing. Holding off on activating Amalthe's and Elara's effects until they are popped if you know your opponent has on-field negation, for example.
Destruction being an in-archetype Droll is also pretty strong, though it didn't come up too often since I went second more often than not.
Learning to use the "CL1 Change pop body, CL2 D.O.O.M.D.U.R.G. pop Change" interaction to use both effects of Change in the same turn helps generate a lot of advantage and make bodies - searching, recursion and swarming all in one. If you can afford to hold Change for this exact interaction, I suggest you do. (The only other way to pop Change is in hand with Diactorus or Raiders, but then you don't have Change in your hand to activate its 1 effect anymore. Not good.)
Be careful when attacking with whatever D.O.O.M.D.U.R.G.'s equipped to though. (Unless you're OK with it going kaboom. You might be, in some gamestates, since all DoomZ monsters - minus Drastea & Drastrius - trigger on effect destruction, even in the Damage Step.)
