Notes & Combos

This is an example of an Endymion Spellbook build. Its goal is to draw as much as possible with spell cards to generate enough spell counters to jumpstart our pendulum strategies.

The Spellbook engine performs here a secondary counter/draw generator with the added benefit of summoning Jowgen from your deck during your end phase and replenishing your hand with cards to play in the following turns. Not only that, but by summoning Ebon High Magician you are able to use the Spellbook quick-play spells from your hand to grant yourself a spell/trap immunity for one card and a non-targetting banish. He is also quite tough by himself.

Crowley is a way to access the spellbook engine with your non-pendulum monsters, such as Souls and Magician of Prophecy, and Artemis is a cool trick to transform any level 4 or lower spellcaster into a viable target for Spellbook of Knowledge, as it REQUIRES you to send to the GY (and pendulums go to the ED). There are also some slots for techable generic link-monsters.

Another cool trick is to get hold of both Spellbook of Judgement and Knowledge: CL1 Knowledge, then CL2 Judgement or any other SP quick-play to get to draw for the cost of only 1 spell activation (we activate much more than necessary already).

Triple Tactics Talent can be swapped for Called by the Grave if you don't have it. These cards add some resiliency to the combo. Try to keep the Soul's draw 2 as a way to get rid of spells that can't be used anymore.
