Notes & Combos

This list was inspired by a similar build shared in the 8-Axis Discord channel. That list used Sekka's Light and only 1 Emergence, it also used Protos and aimed to go first and blind call dark. My version instead uses 3 Emergence and stays true to the blind second strategy the deck normally has. With 9 cards that are or can be Mo Ye its very easy to open Mo Ye and synchro into Chixiao and from there do the add Longyuan, make Baronne then deal 1200 with Longyuan line.

Having that puts you in a great position to OTK from there, you have a lot of protection from things like Nibiru. I've also had a gam where my opponent removed my Swordsoul monster but kept the token, so I used it and a level 8 to make Sigma. Taia has synergy with Dangers you can discard Swordsoul monsters then normal summon Taia and banish one to summon the token and pop off from there.

I'm running a lot of draw power to make opening the Swordsoul engine as consistent as possible. If you don't want Chixiao you can make Chaos Ruler instead and add a light or dark and potentially mill an Orochi or Swordsoul monster to banish with Taia. Chaos Ruler can be used for Xyz summoning and summon himself back after being detached as material. Overall I'm having a lot of fun so far, if you play both decks build the hybrid yourself and give it a try.
