Notes & Combos

Pros:

  • Strong quick-effect disruption
  • Strong Graveyard protection/disruption
  • Quite customizable
  • Compatibility with shifter
  • Bright future

Cons:

  • Currently Expensive
  • Too heavily reliant on Vadis, weak vs backline breakers
  • Too "passive"

While the quick effect of the Xyz monsters are strong, your opponent has to touch the grave at least once before you can summon them. This means:

  1. You're heavily reliant on your opponent to make certain plays. If your opponent knows about Exosisters and make plays around the Grave, you'll find with few to no options.
  2. Your disruption become only active after one play involving Grave. If your opponent manages to create enough advantage with that one play, you'll already have lost. For example, Lubellion (usually )sends Albaz back to deck from grave to summon Mirajade. The moment it happens, you cannot stop the Mirajade from sending Albion to grave -> setting branded in red. You'll need additional disruptions like handtraps or adventurers to manage to stop it.
  • Depends heavily on matchups
  • Gimmick conflict with Adventurer
  • Bricky
  • Low Attack/Defense

Your main play will mostly revolve around Vadis. You need to chain Vadis to your opponents effect involving the grave, from which you'll get the 2 Xyz monsters firing their disruptions. This also means you HAVE to protect and resolve Vadis at all costs. Adventurer engine is mostly used for that.

Unfortunately I can't write more, these are the most important points. Have fun!
