Notes & Combos

End of last season when i tried to push for D1 i ran into very little Runick, and even less Lab/Floo etc., but a lot more SwSo & Mathmech so i changed Chaos Hunter for the extra copies of Nib & Maxx-C to help with those matchups. Sadly that kinda didn't pan out too well during the climb to D5 this season as Plat had between 1-2 Runicks per 5 games. However being stuck for 30 minutes every time you face Runick if you play Chaos Hunter control sounded pretty much as miserable as just losing those games so i decided to just stick with Nib/Maxx-C anyway + a few Runick players have started to really play around LS/HFD + Imperm/Droplet by not even summoning Huggin and just leaving their EMZ empty, in wich case Chaos Hunter is pretty much useless as well. Thankfully most Runick players are bad and just leave Huggin out so you can still win like half your games by waiting for LS/HFD + Imperm/Droplet so its kinda whatever.

Everything else i think is pretty standard just like the last few seasons. Can swap Handtraps for Frightfur Package or more Despia cards but it feels more impactful to me to be able to stop your opponents turn if they are on Math/SwSo than a bit more combo potential would.

On a random side note i tried Almarduke as a Super Poly target instead of Mud but strangely even tho i used to pretty much never need Mud it has come up quite a few times recently so i ended up sticking with it instead.
