Notes & Combos

Notes:

When going first, only use Agido and Kelbek if you have Abyss Dweller up or GraveKeeper's Trap* with Exchange of the spirit in your grave. This is important as there is a chance your opponents can mill the ishizu shufflers.

If you mill exchange of the spirit while gravekeeper's trap is up on the field you basically won the game. At that point I would search Tearlaments Cryme rather than Tearlaments Sulliek to protect your auto win con.

Tech Choices

  • Needlebug's Nest - Insane card, lets you play on your opponents turn and is a lot safer then using Kelbek or Agido blindly. Also ran into Exosister a lot and this lets me play on their turn when they set up Asopheil.
  • Zoodiac Cards - Stole this from user Zorosion. The theory behind this card is good as it helps against anti-meta/anti-tearlaments. Only really came up once for me but the 4 material zeus that this enables is really good
  • GraveKeeper's Trap + Exchange of Spirit: GraveKeeper's Trap essentially lets you search either the shufflers or mills which can either help start or interrupt your opponent. Additionally if you have exchange of spirit in your grave, you have a lot of grind and a permanant dweller effect.
  • D.D. Crow: Helps interrupt tearlaments plays and is also used to make Mudragon.
  • Spright Elf- Can use this to protect against targeting effects and summon Diviner or Merrli.

Improvements/Changes

  • If the 43 cards gives you an ick, you can honestly cut out diviner and the D.D. Crows. If you don't like the idea of drawing exchange of the spirit, you can also cut that but I had a lot of fun with it.
  • I would also cut out Spright Elf, I rarely used it as I rather go into Dweller a lot more
  • I initally played Rainbow Bridge Salvation as it helped get me the field spell and a material for the tearlaments fusions but found that it was too bricky
