Notes & Combos

Season 16 upon us and I am sorry to say that I have finally joined the dark side, as they say, fighting fire with fire, so I've decided to use Rhongo as a counter to Tear. 18 Level 8s to make trade-in alive and compounded with 3 pot of desires is more than enough draw power. I've also added astraltopia and left-arm offering as additional search for either numbers eveil and sales ban. This deck easily folds to floo and stun (they don't usually summon extra deck monsters lol) but this has excellent matchup against exosisters, an above-average one against tears and due to surprise factor, it can caught many decks off guard.

GENERAL NOTES:

1. Main line of play is to clear the enemy board of their disruptions so you can safely activate Numbers Eveil and Sales Ban. Since Tear is a monster heavy end board, we usually accomplish this by tributing their disruptive monsters with Kaiju or Lava Golem, just ensure they have atleast one extra deck monster left.
2. This has only one Backrow Removal (Harpie's), so this deck folds to backrow deck and also Tearlaments Cryme. You can replace 3 Astraltopia (anti-synergy with Lava Golem) with 3 Lightning Storm if you frequent facing these kinds of deck
3. Numbers 1 + 5 + 35 + 45 = Number 86 Rhongo (Cheapest combo, No SR or UR)
4. Numbers f0 (SR) + 41 + 5 + 38 (UR) = Number 84 >> overlay to Number 77
5. Or just go directly to Number 77 = Number 1 + 11 + 26 + 39 (UR) so you could use its effect to banish all enemy special summoned monsters
6. Successfully summoning from Number Eveil will prevent you from special summoning monsters other than Numbers XYZ monters as long as the monster you summon from Numbers Eveil is still on the field. So special summon all the lvl. 8s that you can before activating this card.
7. I don't know how to say this properly but in my experience it seems that Numbers Eveil is not HOTP. So if you have multiple copies in hand, you can activate the other one to bait out a rulkallos / Cryme negate and then just activate another one afterwards lol.
8. In Masterduel you can actually Sales Ban Rhongo before summoning him via Numbers Eveil. This is clutch in using left-arm offering.
9. Left-arm offering can be use to search for Harpie's
10. This is not an OTK deck, this is a stun deck using Rhongo to prevent enemies from special summoning. Summoning Rhongo does not equal an auto win since you can actually lost by deck-out.
