Notes & Combos
Why don’t I just play Tri-Brigade?
The best things I love about LL is that most cards are related to each other’s effect, making combos use the brain quite a bit. LL monsters plays like spell cards that bring each other out, and requires understanding them in detail to enjoy their power to the fullest.
Is it as strong as other decks in the meta?
The deck is not as consistent as Swordsoul and not as strong as Branded in total. But with the right cards (and luck) it has a slightly higher ceiling in terms of combo, which is much needed to compete with them.
This deck has a losing matchup towards actual birds (Floo), because most interactions don’t work against them. You can play Apex Avian instead or on top of Barrier Statue to make the deck more versatile, but the deck already bricks more often than other decks that I am personally not a fan of adding more bricks.
Thunder Dragon is really annoying.
Against Floodgates, we have some options. WIND Winged-Beast consist of most of the monsters, and against TCBOO, TB and Accesscode can somewhat deal with it.
Should you "BIRD UP" if you already have TB cards?
Please, do us a favor and not call this deck "Bird Up". Some of us have been playing LL even before TB was released and slapping a "Bird Up" tag to the deck feels really awkward to us. You are looking at around 150 UR and some reading for investment, but the deck is really fun.
Beryl Canary?
