Notes & Combos

Lot of players playing evenly this season. Setting-up cryme was key in many duels. Surprisingly, I did got evenly matched twice in a single turn like 5-6 duels.

  • Stein: Came up a lot, both exterio and tearlament fusion.

  • Orange: It's good when you draw it. Very high chance to draw a orange+ishizu.

  • Rainbow bridge: it's very good, free field spell when milled. But a brick in the hand. I did draw it like couple of times. Worth playing though for the field spell as it is at 1.

  • Gravekeeper trap: This was very useful for the inspector stun deck matchup. Faced few in D2 and D3.

  • Gigantic: I never used it.

  • Aussa: Didn't use that often. Used couple of times just to use my opponent shufflers.

  • Goddess: I used her a lot.

  • Mudragon: I did play it till D5 instead of gigantic. Came up a few times, but not that effective.

I would play Exciton instead of gigantic.

I did tried playing evenly. But battle phase is very important for this deck. Ash and called by was very mid.

I always milled with my millers if I was going first. It feels so good when they are not tear and lot of them are just playing counters to tear instead of tear.

Overall I did faced a lot of mirror matchups in D4 and D5. Very few in D1 to D3, faced lot of Floo, exosister and Stun decks.

I would say my most losses were against tear, stun, floo, exosister in that order. It feels so rough to play against a stun deck going second and they just open inspector border.
