Notes & Combos

Anti-tear tech, herald and sovereign are the answers.

Your main goal is to make herald or sovereign, baronne is here only to have options, not that good versus tear.

Just ending on herald can make them surrender if you can protect him with smashers or avramax, they will desperately try to destroy him in battle, wasting the normal summon.

Why sovereign?

It can banish tears and shufflers from field and grave, without targeting. It can always chain-block the fountain, even if negated, so ash/ogre are not a problem anymore.

Your main enemy is the trap that permanently negates, so put the sovereign and herald under elf to give them targeting protection.

The deck can easily play with fissure on field by exploiting the fact that xyz materials dosen't get banished.

If you open with fissure in hand, going first and second (if you know they haven't set the counter trap), use it as you first card, it will lock them out of using maxx c.

Your ideal end board against tear should be at minimum herald and a way to potect him or fissure, this will grant you to survive and apply more pressure the next turn.

The only problem I faced is the elf into cyberstein and exterio, I need to think how to solve that problem, but other than that this is by far the most flexible deck I ever played.
