Notes & Combos

Ishizu nightmare, no more.

Possibly one of the most frustrating climbs I had to do with this deck, current format will test your patience but with the right amount of dedication (and stubborness) the deck is still capable of producing decent results. Would like to thank all the members of Mathmech channel since they cheered me on throughout the whole climb and invite anyone that has questions about the deck to come there and ask!

Some random thoughts:

  • Linguriboh is insane for this format, don't underestimate his power on keeping Tear's trap cards in check just long enough for you to secure winning line. Try to establish it on the board as soon as possible if you have enough body counts to keep playing;

  • Tried different tech choices and ratios for handtraps through the whole climb and this is what I landed on for the final stretch, may change idea in a couple of days but I would say this is a safe count for anyone who wants to approach this format with the deck;

  • Don't cut Final Sigma/Multiplication, they will save your bacon more times than what they'll make you lose games.

  • 2 Laplacian is probbaly not the best call for this format, but I liked to get cheeky and go for some handrips if I had Diameter negate live for the turn, but you can definitely cut 1 copy for something else entirely

  • Cynet Conflict is your best shot at going 1st against any kind of GY hate, ensuring your Superfactorial goes in smoothly or just to stop your opponent on their tracks.

All in all it was a fun, very nerve-wrecking experience, and it may be inspiring for some other players to try this out. Math gang rise on!
