Notes & Combos

Exclusivly played this deck from D4 to D1 and always went blind 2nd. Tech choices will be outdated once Spright comes out, but i really wanted to get this deck to D1 at least once before that as this deck is currently my favorite of all time.

The two basic lines that get you to your OTK are:

  1. BraFu->Herz & Albaz for Albion->CL1 Albion/CL2 Herz->Add CyDra w/ Herz->Rampage/Twin w/ CyDra & Herz
  2. NS Core->add Realm->Realm add Chimera->Realm eff to NS Chimera->Chimera eff discard SP/T for PB->Sieger with Core+Chimera->PB for Twin/Rampage w/ Sieger & Core

Should you not be able to OTK your fallback plan is to get to MJ, either via BraFu or making Verte with the Core line instead of Sieger. This means Verte isn't cutable. You do only need 1 MJ tho as you would run out of targets for the banish with the 2nd anyway.

HFD+LS over Cosmic because it doesn't take care of the floodgates that Runick set up and you need to OTK once you go for a play or you lose. 9/10 Runick players at some point summon Hugin so you can clear with Imperm/Droplet/Spoly + HFD/LS. Running both Imperm & Droplet is also much better than playing only one of the two imo. Chaos hunter is another pretty funny option for Runick, but its not great vs. everything else.

Prefer handtraps over more Despia/Frightfur as stopping your opponent from popping off has been working out better for me than having more gas in the tank yourself.

The ED is pretty set in stone with only the Super Poly targets and Guardian Chimera being replacable, the latter being less common of a BiR target without Frightfur or more Despia. You can run Quaeritis, Alba-Lenatus or Winda but having tried all i think Starving Venom, Mud & Chimera are your best choices. However, with Mathmech being the most popular deck atm Diplexer is actually a even better choice, but it's not something you would run all the time.

Belle is also specifically for the current meta like Diplexer. It hits Superfactorial, BiR, Fountain & Called by making it the best performing handtrap in my games. In plat i was running Nib instead as it covers a lot of rogue matchups and is better vs. SwSo, does conflict with LS tho and SwSo is less popular than Math.

Thanks to Jude for bringing up Diplexer, as i forgot that card exists, as well as Ele for making my games easier by ensuring a fair and conductive dueling environment with KC + a big thanks to all other peeps from the cydra channel<3.
