Why Spright

Basicaly climbed the Diamond rank 2 times, up to D1 promo game with Tearlaments then deranked to D5 because of all the Floo and other Tear hate decks (sometimes you will play more against the Tear counters than Tear lol) and went straight to D1 with Spright.

I find this deck the best bet I can make in this format since it has a decent matchup against Tear and Spright still be Spright against the other decks (GY floodgates don't hurt as mush as they do to Tear).

The Melffy engine is so good, this is the reason why it can compete with Tear summoning Herald during their turn. Melffy of the Forest is also a good interruption (it can end a Floo turn: activate Catty on the first summon, trigger Forest and target the next summon).

I also play many board breakers that help a lot going 2nd (Evenly Matched is simply busted). It's pretty easy to bait monster effects with Sprights to activate Kurikara + TTT. Feather Duster is a good bonus to backrows and force plays.

I have played with 40 cards for a long time and finally added a Gamma Burst to help me pushing for game. There were times I had no target for Jet, so why not. Hopefully it won't hurt the consistency as 41.

Endboard

Elf + Melffy of the Forest + I:P + Catty + Carrot (we can summon it from gy during the opp turn, and has more impact than Red because of all the Evenly or TTT moving around this format). Summoning Avramax with I:P and Elf can protect the other monsters from battle, mainly Herald.
