Notes & Combos

Deck is pretty gas most of the time and plays through typical Tear stuff.

  • Typically the end board goes like Dragite/Herald of Arc Light + Baronne/Chengying + Apo (for 3/4) + Elf pointing at Baronne and Apo + Block Dragon + I:P in GY
  • I'm not on Vern stuff because I feel like they don't do enough without Superheavy Samurai package, like I get more mileage out of Cart, Raptite, Prank-Kids, and Elf atm, but will def use them for when Naturia stuff drops (obvs not in this deck)
  • My only regret is not figuring out how to fit in Abyss Dweller or Bagooska in case you don't have enough to play through or because Bagooska is pretty ez stun for decks relying on D Shifter.
  • You could totally cut down on like Guardian, Doki, Cart, Xeno or w/e to get the deck down to 40, but I'm liking it as is in terms of hitting on the excavates.
  • Gotta say MVP is Spright Elf and protects your Baronne and Apo from targeting which is HUGE, and because extends you to 2 extra interrupts since it brings back an Adam tuner which you just use to for Dragite, Baronne, Apo, Chengying, or Herald of Arc Light, and if they try to attack over spent Apo, you just summon I:P from GY and link with Elf and Block into like Unicorn or Goddess.
  • Herald of Arc Light is pretty clutch because disables Tear Ishizu options.
  • I'm not running Agido (ran it before and had deck size to 48 cards) because I don't run the Ishizu cards for the mill stuff, it's literally just anti-Tear tech in case you draw Kelbek or they mill your Keldo and Mudora.

I would have replays of them more but my profile is full and I'm too lazy to archive them onto my YT, but the deck def is a little slept on this format. The deck plays around most of the anti-meta techs though which is great because I've been hit with so many bad techs like D Fissure and Macro, which is fine I guess vs Tear, but is hard cope and better just to play actual cards (like stop cutting Maxx C for more going 1st cards, it's bad).
