Notes & Combos

Don't ask me what this deck is doing because this was the 3 Michelin stars full course meal I came up with after cooking a little too long.

It's pretty consistent to get out both Rod and Souls. Little does your opponent know that they're just Imperm/Veiler bait for the real boss monster of the Deck: Verte. I almost always go into DPE unless I already have Fusion Destiny in hand, in which case, I don't make Verte at all. Unless you open Branded Fusion and Fusion Destiny, you cannot make both Rindbrumm and DPE on the same turn. You can only get Mirrorjade by using Verte or by Albaz's effect.

Chimera and Chaos Angel are clutch. Chimera can be summoned off of Secrets during BP to wipe your opponent's board and push for OTK, or during your opponent's turn to interrupt them like Branded in Red. Chaos Angel can be made with Rod/Denier and Dark Magician/Chaos Hunter or Albaz/Kitt and DMG, and whenever I summon her, it's almost always for the on-demand banish.

Chaos Hunter does surprisingly well against a lot of decks this event as she's good against Exosister, Runick, and even the mirror match. Radian came up a few times and is especially good against Exosister since they usually end on just Magnifica. He's also there to out Herald, but I haven't faced any Drytrons.

Super Poly was supposed to be a board breaker to help deal with Labrynth and other dark decks, but it pretty much never came up and ended up as fodder for Souls to draw. If you want to get close to a 40-card deck, I would drop these and maybe Duster or Judgment. In retrospect, I would run Called By instead of these.
