1. Always include 1 Snow. Game changer. Can remove a spent/stuck MJ and dodge negates under the right circumstances. IMO the only 'gas' option needed to compete with the top decks like SEFK/Tear/etc and it alone makes running Grass worth.
2. Verte is mandatory. If you can read player toggle and confirm no maxx c but they have ash, go into Verte. It's very easy to do this with a high bystial count. Search BBBK/BiR instead else Branded Lost. Keep in mind what you send off shrouded. I like to send Albaz alot of the time, since it allows Verte access and you may occasionally draw the 1 Cartesia. Also blocks bystial from ruining your BF.
3. Cut Chaos Nephthys because I barely saw any SEFK/Yubel but its a good card.
4. Only summoned Dragoon once and it was my final rank up game to M1.
5. Cut Branded Banishment because its only good against Yubel and Branded. And it's not that good unless you run Predaplant Dracostapelia, which isnt worth the slot. I also cut Quaeritis for Dragoon, which makes banishment even less worth to run.
6. Never liked playing hand traps in 60 card Branded besides Maxx C but added more because of Tenpai. I won many games where I simply Thrust->Imperm when they shotgun shifter/maxx c. 35% of players are tenpai, so you'll go first more than 50% of the time and if you can remove normal summon and negate kaimen, you win. I don't include Triple maxxc/ash because the deck isnt reliant on it but its nice to occasionally sack pseudo-FTK decks (like Plants).
7. Veiler is 90% of the time worse than imperm but occasionally its funny to see your opponent CBTG and you can dodge with bystial. Also a spellcaster for BiHS.
8. Never regretted putting in lulu. Better than quaeritis IMO because it can negate spells like Phantom Pain and Tenpais during BP/etc. Quaeritis is good against VV though.
9. Ratio of 1 tragedy/2merc/2allure/2goldsarc seemed good.
10. Recommend a high bystial/dragon count. Decent handtraps and work well with BiHS. BiHS is arguably Branded's second best card.
11. Speaking of BiHS, Dragoon actually has great synergy with it. You can send both Dragoon/DM to the GY for a Kitt instead of GGG instead. This is highly underrated, as alot of people dont run 2x GGG.
12. Use DM instead of fusion substitutes because you never want to summon this on your first turn using BF. DM also searchable with deployment.
13. Quem/Cartesia -> 1/1 because games short. Quem worst starter. 2 Kitts to shuffle her back.
