Fishy War Crime (Primal Seed engine)
from on February 1st, 2023Notes & Combos
This is a Primal Seed loop that uses Final Countdown and Pyro Clock to advance the turn counter to 20 in the first turn. You can change the final countdown for any other funny loop that Primal Seed enables.
All you need to start the combo is a special summon level 4 (one of the Tenyis or ZS Sage) and normal summon Beautunaful Princess to summon Leaffish, Piri Map gets you Beautunaful. If you open Leaffish and a level 4 special summon you then need to use Leaffish GY effect to return 3 fish and you need to return 2 fish to the main deck and White aurora to ex deck, do this after the second coelacanth activation. This is necessary for the second summon of clock dragon.
For the second summon of clock dragon, it only activates if the links used have a link rating that add up to exactly the number of cards left in deck. If you use all the links they add up to 20 but if you need to mill 19 cards then Clock dragon doesn't activate. Example: if you need to mill 17 cards you would need to NOT use one of the link 3 mons for the fusion of Clock Dragon. Just do the math.
Other than that the combo is very straightforward, just watch the replay below.
This can be done with 1 Coelacanth but the original creator of this deck used 2 for consistency (in case 1 is drawn), you can add 1 more Fishborg Archer if you don't want to waste UR dust. You can also replace Verte with Knightmare Phoenix, the replay uses Union Carrier but it was only used as a link 2 monster. Aside from Electrumite and Clock Lizard you can replace any of the links for another link mon that has the same link rating as the one you are replacing as well as making sure you can summon it with the materials in the deck and tokens from tomahawk. Clock Lizard requires 2 cyberse so traffic ghost and cyberse enchanter are your only options. (If you need dark magicians or a non link Ed mon)
As long as you don't draw the non level 4's aside of Bautunaful (like the 1 shark or 2 seals) and Coelacanth (if you run 1) you should be good to go, just pray for no handtraps.
The whole 20 turns is easy to do in casual matches since the timer is 480 seconds. If rank gets 30-50 more seconds it would be more feasible to also perform it there. As of now, my personal best is 13 Pyro Clock activations before time out in ranked duel. The og creator did the whole 20 activations to resolve Final Countdown in a ranked duel, either they are a Korean starcraft player or used a script.
