The main purpose is to establish Spellbreaker (Disallowing spells), Dragite (negating imperm/evenly matched/GY spells and traps) and eventually the main boss monster Lancea to bring out the IB floodgates. There are several combos that can be done based on the starting hand and this is one of them with Revealer + MM in hand.
